STONE Mental Health Services was founded by Dr. Fernando Garcia III, LMFT, Ed.D, a licensed psychotherapist and sport & performance psychologist with a passion for bridging mental health care and human potential. Located in the heart of downtown Bakersfield, STONE Mental Health Services provides innovative, integrative, and client-centered support for individuals, couples, families, and organizations.
Dr. Garcia created STONE as a response to the growing need for accessible and culturally responsive care that not only addresses mental health challenges, but also enhances performance, resilience, and overall well-being. With a foundation rooted in evidence-based practices, STONE offers psychotherapy, mental skills training, corporate wellness programs, and community workshops tailored to the unique needs of each client.
